Do you offer short term leases?
Yes. However, our short term leases are capped to allow a certain number per unit type. We are currently offering short term leases for studios only. We offer 6 – 13 month leases.
Can I use a cosigner or guarantoor?
Yes, but the guarantoor must meet the minimum income requirement of 5x the gross market rent.
Is there a short term premium?
Yes. The premium is $150 per month for 6 – 9 month leases, and $100 for 10 – 11 month leases.
Are utilities included in the rent?
No. Our residents are responsible for all utilities.
Water, recycling, trash and sewer are flat fees:
$55 for a studio
$70 for a 1br
$125 for a 2 br
Are cable and internet included?

Who are your cable and internet providers?
Our providers are Comcast and Verizon.
TIP: Please be mindful to schedule all cable and internet appointments for installation during business hours which are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. This is to ensure that technicians have access to cable rooms.
Is parking included?
No. Parking is an additional $250 per month and subject to availability. All parking spaces in the garage are reserved with a height restriction of 6 feet.
Is there guest parking?
No, but many guests opt to use meter street parking or park at the Watergate Hotel across the street.
Are we a pet friendly community?
Yes. However, some breed restrictions apply to dogs. Pet fees and restrictions are listed below.

May I ship packages to the apartment before I arrive?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept packages on your behalf until you move in.
Can I schedule furniture deliveries without an elevator reservation?
No. All furniture deliveries and moving requires an elevator appointment.
How do I make an elevator or loading dock reservation?

After I move in, where do I put my boxes?
Please flatten all boxes and place them neatly on the floor in the trash room. Please do not place cardboard in the trash chute.
How many sets of keys come with the apartment?
We issue one key per lease holder. We do not issue kes to guests, visitors, or guarantoors.
Is there someone in the building who can help me assemble furniture or hang a tv?
No. However, we recommend an app called Handy.
Am I allowed to mount a tv on the wall?
Yes. However, you cannot put any holes in the wall larger than the size of a dime.

Can I pay my rent online?
Yes. After the first month, you will recieve an invitation to access your online portal. You may use this portal to submit work orders and pay your rent online.
For my initial rent payment, who do I make the check out to?
DC Boathouse, LLC (wire transfers and personal checks cannot be accepted. We only accept cashier checks and money orders for the initial payment).
What length should my shower curtain be?
